Conflicts Lawyer n Londonn Up to £130k
n We’re working with a fabulous US law firm who are looking to appoint a Risk & Compliance Lawyer to join their London team.
n This is a great opportunity for a qualified lawyer with experience across conflicts, new business intake, legal risk or compliance to take on a broad advisory role within a highly established international firm.
The role?n You’ll sit within the New Business & Conflicts team, working closely with the Office of General Counsel and senior stakeholders across the firm.
n • Analysing and resolving complex conflicts of interest across new business and lateral hiresn • Advising lawyers on conflicts, ethics and professional conductn • Reviewing and advising on terms of engagementn • Drafting waivers and establishing ethical wallsn • Supporting the firm's wider risk management and compliance activitiesn • Providing training on professional conduct, risk and compliance policiesn • Keeping up to date with regulatory and legal developments affecting conflicts and new businessn • Working on wider OGC and firm-wide projects
About you?n ✓ Admitted to practise in England & Walesn ✓ A qualified lawyer with 3+ years' relevant experiencen ✓ Experienced in law firm conflicts / new business intake / OGC / legal riskn ✓ A strong legal researcher with excellent analytical and decision-making skillsn ✓ Confident advising and working with lawyers and senior stakeholdersn ✓ Highly organised, commercially aware and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
n Experience with Intapp Conflicts, Intake, Terms or Walls would be highly advantageous.
