n An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Solicitor to join the thriving Commercial Litigation team of a highly regarded and growing law firm.
n The team advises a diverse client base ranging from SMEs and owner-managed businesses to major institutional clients, both regionally and nationally. This role offers the chance to work on a broad range of high-quality contentious matters within a supportive and collaborative environment.
n The firm is committed to flexible working and is open to considering part-time applications, with a minimum commitment of three days per week.
The Rolen The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters, including:n • Contractual disputesn • Shareholder and partnership disputesn • Debt recovery and recoveries workn • Insolvency-related mattersn • Property disputes and matters involving fixed charge receiversn • Sports law mattersn • General civil and commercial litigation
n You will have responsibility for your own caseload whilst also working closely with colleagues across the wider litigation team to deliver outstanding client service.
Key Responsibilitiesn • Managing a diverse commercial litigation caseload from instruction through to resolutionn • Advising clients on a broad range of contentious commercial mattersn • Working collaboratively with solicitors, legal assistants, and support staffn • Developing and maintaining strong client relationshipsn • Participating in business development and networking activitiesn • Delivering practical, commercially focused legal advicen • Contributing to the continued growth and success of the department
About Youn Applications are welcomed from solicitors with experience in commercial litigation, as well as those with a property law or property litigation background looking to broaden their expertise and develop a career in contentious work.
The ideal candidate will:n • Have experience of commercial litigation and dispute resolution mattersn • Possess knowledge of recoveries, debt recovery, and insolvency work, or a genuine interest in developing these areasn • Have experience or an interest in property-related disputes and receiver workn • Demonstrate excellent organisational and case management skillsn • Be confident dealing directly with clients and professional contactsn • Have strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesn • Be commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to legal issuesn • Work effectively both independently and as part of a teamn • Be committed to professional development and delivering exceptional client service
