Salary Range: £28,000 – £36,000 per annum

We are currently seeking a Functional Skills Maths Tutor to join our team in Peterborough. This role offers an opportunity to engage with learners and help them achieve their educational goals in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Functional Skills Maths.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
• Develop and implement curriculum materials tailored to student needs.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Participate in professional development activities to improve teaching practices.

Experience and Qualifications

• Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed).
• Level 3 Maths qualification or equivalent.
• Proven experience in teaching Maths, particularly at the Functional Skills level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
