An exciting opportunity has arisen at a leading secondary school in Rumney, Cardiff for a Teacher of Religious Education. This role is to cover a long-term absence within the Humanities department, offering a chance to inspire and educate pupils in a dynamic and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet curriculum standards for Religious Education and History.
- Supporting pupils’ academic and personal development through inclusive teaching practices.
- Contributing to departmental schemes of learning and school-wide initiatives to promote high standards.
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Religious Education and History at secondary level.
- A strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Mandatory compliance with an Enhanced DBS check and relevant safeguarding training.
