Overview
In this Commercial Manager role, you’ll shape Vodafone Business UK contracts from opportunity to delivery and renewal. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to secure value, manage risk, and drive profitable growth in a fast-paced environment. You’ll lead commercial strategy, assess opportunities, and negotiate complex agreements with a focus on customer value and business objectives. Responsibilities
- Provide commercial leadership throughout the sales lifecycle
- Assess opportunities, validate pricing, and benchmark market competitiveness
- Negotiate customer and supplier contracts to deliver cost-effective solutions
- Secure governance approvals and close complex deals
- Capture contractual terms, obligations, and risk mitigations accurately
- Lead contract handovers to ensure delivery teams have clear commitments
- Identify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Collaborate across functions to optimise contract performance and create lasting value
Key requirements
- Significant experience in Commercial or Contract Management
- Proven track record of delivering commercial outcomes
- Strong negotiation skills with complex discussions and dispute resolution
- Ability to analyse commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Experience structuring and presenting commercial proposals balancing customer value and business objectives
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to interpret contractual models
- Confident influencing and collaborating with senior stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Growth mindset and continuous improvement focus
- Collaborative approach and willingness to coach others
- Telco and/or IT industry experience is advantageous
- World Commerce & Contract accreditation (IACCM) would be beneficial
