Cold End Engineering Manager

Overview

In this role, you will lead cold end engineering services to enable automated quality inspection and packaging at a global glass packaging plant. You will manage equipment, workshops, and service delivery to support operational targets and safe, efficient performance. You engage and develop engineers, prioritise safety and wellbeing, and drive continuous improvement to sustain quality and resource stewardship. Responsibilities

• Oversee Cold End inspection and palletisation equipment, bottle conveyor systems and return cullet systems
• Execute job changes and manage cold end engineering workshops & stock items
• Provide Cold End equipment or services needed by all users to achieve objectives
• Organise and manage the department including onboarding and ongoing training
• Review subordinates performance to ensure targets are met

Key requirements

• Experience in supervision or leadership roles in a target-driven, fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead and motivate a team
• Packaging industry experience preferred
