Overview

In this Global O2C Process Owner role, you lead a critical end-to-end order-to-cash process within a multinational finance function undergoing a major transformation. You will shape the global process strategy, aligning design, data governance, and controls to enable a future-ready finance operating model. The position sits at the intersection of finance, systems, and transformation, driving standardisation, automation, and governance across regions. You will engage senior stakeholders and build a global community of process professionals to improve efficiency, control, and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver the global process strategy aligned with the finance transformation roadmap and operating model
  • Drive global process standardisation, governance, efficiency, and control across regions
  • Own the global governance framework ensuring compliance with policies, authorities, audits and internal controls
  • Establish and maintain process documentation, SOPs, control matrices, and governance standards
  • Monitor KPIs, control effectiveness, and compliance metrics for audit readiness and continuous improvement
  • Act as the accountable owner for key process controls and governance attestations
  • Lead global process improvement initiatives focused on simplification, automation, and digital enablement
  • Manage the process improvement roadmap with systems, technology, and transformation teams
  • Develop reporting capabilities and embed new requirements into controlled, standardised processes
  • Build relationships with global finance, technology, operations, and outsourced service delivery stakeholders
  • Influence senior leaders to support process improvements and governance priorities
  • Lead and develop a global community of process professionals and promote continuous improvement

Key requirements

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant senior finance or transformation leadership experience
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end O2C process design, governance, standardisation in complex multinational settings
  • Strong knowledge of internal controls, audit frameworks, risk management, and compliance
  • Proven track record leading large-scale transformation and global standardisation in O2C
  • Strong finance technology knowledge, ERP platforms, automation tools, and reporting solutions
  • Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities
  • Proven ability to influence senior finance, technology teams, and service providers
  • Experience leading teams or cross-functional global communities
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills
