Boutique family law firm is expanding across Scotland and seeking a Senior Associate to lead complex family matters with autonomy. You will handle a varied caseload, act as a senior point of contact for clients and colleagues, and mentor junior lawyers. The role blends delivering practical, empathetic advice with contributing to business development and the growth of the Scottish practice. Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of family law matters (financial and children)
• Take ownership of complex matters with autonomy
• Provide clear, commercially aware advice to clients
• Support and mentor junior solicitors and trainees
• Contribute to business development, networking and profile-raising activities
• Support the growth and development of the Scottish practice

Key requirements

• Scots-qualified Family Lawyer with 4+ PQE
• Confident in managing own caseload independently
• Comfortable advising clients through sensitive and complex circumstances
• Strong technical ability and attention to detail
• Commercially minded with understanding of client development
• Ambitious and motivated to help build a longer-term practice
