Implementation Consultant

Overview

In this role you implement WorkForce Software solutions for diverse clients, driving value quickly through structured delivery. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to translate client needs into practical designs, workflows, and configurations. You’ll guide customers through best practices and manage workshops, testing, and go-live activities. You’ll contribute to continuous improvement and grow your functional and technical expertise in a client-facing, delivery-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan project activities including kickoff, readiness, and goal setting with stakeholders
• Provide effort estimates, status updates, and risk signals throughout the lifecycle
• Facilitate discovery workshops and translate business needs into solution designs and specifications
• Collaborate with Technical Consultants to ensure builds meet requirements and support end-user processes
• Support testing, defect resolution, and validation activities with customers and internal teams
• Assist data migration, go-live preparation, and production transition
• Deliver administrator training and drive customer adoption and training post-implementation
• Maintain product certifications and identify opportunities to improve practices and outcomes
• Mentor teammates and promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
• Manage client communications and set expectations for a successful implementation

Key requirements

• 2-4 years of software implementations experience
• Strong Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Excel
• Knowledge of waterfall and agile delivery methodologies
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to adapt to changing conditions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Understanding of implementation principles and lifecycle
• Ability to work in a dynamic, customer-focused, cross-functional team
• Experience with packaged software or complex internal applications
• Client-facing experience and mature judgement
• Logical and technical mindset with quick learning ability
