Overview

Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver commercial services to internal and external clients across water and environmental projects
  • Provide risk and commercial advice during bid and project lifecycle
  • Ensure suitable prospect governance is in place
  • Support reporting and forecasting of project commercial performance with finance
  • Carry out detailed commercial and financial analyses and reporting
  • Manage changes with emphasis on commercial implications and risk
  • Ensure activities meet internal standards and external requirements
  • Support the commercial team’s business improvement initiatives

Key requirements

  • Degree in relevant discipline
  • Background in quantity surveying and project commercial management
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and ability to analyze, manage and report data
  • Solid knowledge of NEC 3/4 contract administration
  • Ability to produce clear reports and present information effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with clients and project teams
  • Experience planning timescales, resources and commercial inputs, and monitoring progress against programme and budget
  • Understanding of fee structures and cost drivers (desirable)
