Head of Infrastructure / Inf Sec – Linux AWS

Overview

In this role you will lead the infrastructure and information security strategy for a fast‑growing, technology-driven investment firm. You will own end‑to‑end AWS‑based infrastructure, security governance, and day‑to‑day IT operations to support a rapidly expanding user base. You’ll shape policy, drive scalable platforms, and balance stakeholder needs to deliver secure, reliable systems. This position offers high autonomy and a direct impact on how the business scales its technology and security posture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end infrastructure and information security across AWS, Linux, and the mobile platform
• Develop and implement infrastructure policies, processes, and documentation
• Lead the infrastructure team, manage security controls and threat mitigation
• Engage with stakeholders to balance competing needs and drive strategic security initiatives
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of EC2-based environments
• Represent security posture in technical reviews and executive presentations

Key requirements

• Min 7 years of experience
• AWS expertise with lead experience
• CISSP/CISM/CISA or equivalent experience (preferred)
• Policy experience
• Linux proficiency
• Understanding of firewalls and networking
• Experience with EC2 (preferred)
