Overview

In this Manager role, you guide and coordinate client deliverables on site, overseeing day-to-day relationships and project direction within Deloitte Legal Management Consulting. You’ll cultivate expertise in a domain, lead multidisciplinary teams, and explore sell-on opportunities. You’ll contribute to business development and be part of a high-performing, inclusive team delivering technology-enabled transformation for in-house legal functions. Responsibilities

• Coordinate and own delivery on client engagements across multiple workstreams
• Manage day-to-day client relationships and stakeholder expectations
• Lead and develop multidisciplinary project teams
• Contribute to business development, proposals, bids and new LMC propositions
• Support scoping, governance, and risk management of engagements
• Oversee scope documents, SOWs, budgets and engagement data
• Coach and guide junior team members and provide performance feedback
• Lead bid workstreams and tender responses; identify new opportunities
• Contribute to practice development, thought leadership, and institutional knowledge

Key requirements

• Demonstrable management consulting experience with delivery across complex, multi-workstream projects
• Solid understanding of challenges in in-house legal departments and/or law firms
• Proven people-management and coaching experience; commitment to inclusive leadership
• Strong engagement management including scope, resources, budgets and risk
• Hands-on experience with consulting methodologies (organisational assessments, operating model design, process reengineering, strategy reviews, technology implementations)
• Growing interest in AI, legal tech and digital transformation
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence senior stakeholders; proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Swift, PairD and Legora
• Professional integrity and personal accountability; degree or similar qualification (Prince2, PMI/APM, Prosci, Lean Six Sigma advantageous)
