Overview
In this hands-on Quality Manager role, you will lead quality across manufacturing and laboratory functions, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement. You’ll act as a bridge between QA, Operations, R&D, and Supply Chain, promoting a quality-first culture. You will steer investigations, CAPA, and batch release support, and drive right-first-time performance. The role offers influence on quality strategy, visibility at site level, and opportunities to develop teams in a growing manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the sites quality function and quality team
- Drive a right-first-time culture across manufacturing operations
- Lead investigations relating to non-conformances, deviations, and quality issues
- Manage CAPA activities and root cause analysis processes
- Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Technical teams to resolve quality challenges
- Review and improve quality systems, procedures, and documentation
- Analyse quality data and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Support batch release activities as an authorised representative where applicable
Key requirements
- Experience within a regulated manufacturing environment such as FMCG, cosmetics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or similar sectors
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles and quality systems
- Proven experience leading investigations, CAPA activities, and root cause analysis
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A scientific qualification or equivalent industry experience
