Overview
In this senior role, you will lead change activity across major transformation programmes within Imperial, partnering with senior leaders and academic/professional services colleagues to embed sustainable, people-centered change. You’ll shape strategies, mentor others, and ensure change work aligns with the university’s strategic goals. The role offers scope to influence at scale in a world-leading institution and to deliver meaningful organisational impact. You’ll operate in a multidisciplinary Transformation Team focused on strategic priorities across the university.

Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver change strategies and plans supporting adoption, readiness and benefits realisation across major programmes
- Coach sponsors and leaders; shape communications and engagement approaches
- Oversee change risks and issues; ensure activities are practical, measurable and aligned to strategic goals
- Contribute to building capability, mentoring others and fostering a collaborative team culture
Key requirements
- Significant experience delivering complex transformation in large, matrixed organisations; experience of digital change and technology-enabled transformation; ideally within higher education or similar environment
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong grasp of change methodologies and the ability to translate strategy into practical action
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and influencing at senior levels; enable teams and individuals to move through change
