Town Planner – Surrey – 45,000 – 55,000 plus package

Overview

In this role, you will support land acquisition by shaping town plans for residential sites. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and planning authorities to move schemes toward approval. Working in a fast-paced developer environment, you will help translate site opportunities into planning-ready proposals. This position offers exposure to a dynamic, multi-department setting and the chance to impact project outcomes from early planning through consent.

• salary 45,000 – 55,000 plus package

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing town plans for submission to planning authorities
• Process and progress planning applications through to approval
• Answer queries related to planning applications
• Liaise with planning authorities to secure plan agreements
• Coordinate with internal departments and external authorities during the planning process
• Support on residential sites ranging in size and pace with a developer-focused mindset

Key requirements

• Qualified town planner
• Experience on residential sites of varying sizes
• Experience working with a developer or consultancy
