Construction Manager – Puma

Overview

In this role you will lead on-site construction delivery to meet time, cost, quality, and HSE targets forBilfinger UK. You will work with internal and external stakeholders, upholding safety and quality standards while managing EPC-style contracts. You’ll coordinate with project teams and customers to ensure plans align with standards and local requirements, and you’ll support commissioning and handover activities. This is a hands-on, across-site leadership role at a company focused on sustainable, engineering-led solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and approve construction elements of the project programme
• Manage contract arrangements plan and documentation
• Issue information to subcontractors and raise purchase orders
• Lead construction meetings and monitor performance (costs, HSE, progress)
• Authorize site variations within budget
• Coordinate quality inspections and handover documentation
• Provide construction support for commissioning
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and test requirements

Key requirements

• Experience in EPC contracts (Civil & Construction)
• Budget/financial controls
• Subcontractor management
• Project management experience (projects > €10 million)
• HND/C in Civil or related discipline
• ACCP/CSCS accredited
• APMP accreditation
• NEC Project Manager
