Senior Legal Counsel (Corporate) | London
An exciting opportunity for an experienced corporate lawyer to join a high-growth, international business at a pivotal stage of its journey.
As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will play a key role advising on complex, high-value corporate matters including M&A, equity and debt financings, strategic investments, corporate governance, treasury, ESG, and other business-critical initiatives. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, you’ll provide commercially focused legal advice that enables growth while managing risk.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading strategic corporate transactions including M&A, investments and financing projects
- Advising on corporate governance, treasury, investor relations, restructurings and ESG matters
- Partnering with senior business leaders to deliver practical, solutions-focused legal advice
- Managing external counsel and supporting legal process improvements
- Contributing to the development of a collaborative, high-performing legal function
What we’re looking for:
- UK, US or other common law qualified lawyer
- Around 6+ years’ PQE with strong corporate/M&A experience
- Background in a leading law firm and/or in-house legal team
- Excellent commercial judgement and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and take ownership of complex projects
