What will you be doing?Lead major hazard risk management strategies across upper-tier COMAH sitesAct as a technical specialist for HAZOP, LOPA, QRA and related studiesEnsure compliance while reducing risk to ALARP levelsTurn incident findings into practical improvementsPromote a strong, consistent safety cultureWork closely with operations, maintenance and HSSEQ teamsEngage with regulators and external specialists

What you’ll needDegree in Chemical Engineering or similarExperience in process safety within COMAH environmentsInvolvement in HAZOP, LOPA or similar risk studiesStrong understanding of risk assessment methodologiesAbility to interpret and communicate complex technical dataConfidence working with stakeholders at all levelsChartered status is beneficial but not essential
