Overview

In this role you lead RF subsystem design within a defined system architecture, combining hands-on engineering with team leadership. You act as the technical authority, drive design reviews, and sign off on RF designs while guiding trade-offs. You will work on LNAs, PAs, filters and duplexers, translating system needs into concrete RF solutions and validating them with S-parameter, NF, phase noise, and ACPR measurements. Collaboration with the System Architect and cross-functional teams ensures informed planning and risk decisions. Responsibilities

  • Own RF subsystem design within defined architecture
  • Hands-on design and delivery while mentoring RF team
  • Lead design reviews and sign-off RF designs
  • Make trade-off decisions escalated to you
  • Develop and verify LNAs, PAs, filters, duplexers
  • Translate system requirements into RF designs
  • Validate designs using S-parameter, NF, phase noise, ACPR measurements
  • Collaborate with System Architect and multidisciplinary team; influence planning and risk decisions

Key requirements

  • Strong hands-on RF design experience
  • Leadership of technical delivery on complex projects
  • RF theory, measurement and practical implementation
  • Proficiency with ADS, AWR, CST or HFSS
  • Experience with VNAs, spectrum analysers and signal generators
  • Working understanding of 3GPP standards
  • Experience with wearables or mobile products
