Supply Chain Manager

Overview

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will shape supplier strategy and drive excellence across major construction and infrastructure programmes. You will collaborate with commercial, procurement and project delivery teams to ensure supplier performance aligns with safety, quality, cost and sustainability goals. Based in a major aviation programme environment, you’ll manage relationships with strategic suppliers and steer market engagement and risk mitigation. Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver supply chain strategies for major capital programmes
• Build and manage relationships with strategic suppliers and identify market opportunities
• Lead SPRM activities and track supplier performance against KPIs
• Monitor supplier risks, due diligence, and business continuity planning
• Support supplier reviews, QBRs, and performance reporting
• Conduct market analysis to identify capable delivery partners
• Maintain supplier segmentation frameworks, governance, and reporting tools
• Drive improvements in supplier performance, compliance, innovation, and value

Key requirements

• Significant experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Commercial Management within major infrastructure or construction programmes
• Experience managing supplier performance, relationships, and risk
• Strong stakeholder management and communication, with influence across diverse teams
• Experience analyzing and presenting complex data clearly
• Degree qualified in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional qualification
• MCIPS, MRICS, or similar accreditation desirable
• Experience with large-scale capital projects and operational environments advantageous
• Knowledge of contract management and supplier management systems such as Power BI, CEMAR, or similar tools
