Overview
Senior residential real estate lead sought to build and head a Bristol team within a national, award-winning law firm. You will shape the Bristol offering, recruit and develop the team, and steer high-value conveyancing work for high net worth clients, developers and property professionals. You’ll work on cross-office strategy and client relationships, contributing to the firm’s growth and culture. This is a chance to lead a new practice area and elevate the Bristol market presence.
Responsibilities
- Establish and grow a Bristol-based residential real estate team
- Oversee recruitment, resourcing, performance, and financial oversight
- Instil culture, values and brand signatures across the team
- Handle client feedback and complaints at escalation level
- Train and develop junior team members
- Contribute to national residential real estate strategy and employee experience
Key requirements
- 8+ years PQE as a Solicitor from a strong regional or City firm
- Recognised technical expert in residential property with high-value conveyancing experience
- Demonstrable leadership experience and ability to build/manage a team
- Strong commercial awareness with track record of profitable delivery
- Proven business development capability and established market presence
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusted client relationships
- Strong risk management and compliance awareness
- Competent with Microsoft Office, time recording systems, digital dictation; open to adopting AI
