Asset Manager (BESS)

Overview

In this role you will oversee technical asset management for RES’s renewable energy assets, ensuring compliance, performance, and safe operation. You will coordinate with O&M contractors, manage stakeholders, and produce asset performance reports to optimise technical output. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to uphold HSE standards and contractual commitments, shaping how assets deliver reliable, low‑carbon energy. Responsibilities

• Technical Asset Management obligations under the RES AMA completed timely and efficiently
• Ensure operating assets comply with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and project agreements
• Manage service providers (e.g., O&M contractors) to deliver contracted tasks safely and efficiently
• Oversee technical performance of the asset; review contractor performance reports and verify KPIs (site production availability, performance ratio)
• Identify and implement opportunities to optimise asset technical performance
• Produce asset performance reports in accordance with the AM contract
• Primary point of contact for landowners and external stakeholders (local authorities, public) and manage relationships

Key requirements

• Experience managing 3rd party contractors
• Operational experience of renewable energy assets, specifically BESS
• Experience in reviewing and preparing technical performance reports (preferred)
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and maintenance management systems (preferred)
• Engineering/Science degree or equivalent experience
