In this role you will manage a varied family law caseload within a forward‑thinking firm, delivering clear, empathetic advice across divorce, financial settlements, and children matters. You will work closely with a collaborative Cardiff team to support clients through challenging circumstances while contributing to business development. Responsibilities

  • Manage a broad range of family matters including divorce, nuptial agreements, financial remedies, and children cases
  • Draft legal documents, court applications, and correspondence
  • Conduct negotiations and represent clients in appropriate settings
  • Attend court hearings and client meetings
  • Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development
  • Collaborate with the team in a supportive, modern working environment
  • Support family law clients with clear, practical guidance under pressure
  • Pursue ongoing training and professional development to advance accreditation

Key requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (England & Wales)
  • 2+ years PQE in family law (all levels considered)
  • Experience in divorce, finance and children matters
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Ability to manage own caseload independently
  • Proactive, commercially aware and solutions focused
  • Resolution / Law Society Accreditation, or willingness to work towards it
