Sr Solicitor-Personal Injury (Multi-Track)-Bristol/Hybrid-5+PQE

Overview

As a Senior Solicitor in the Multi-Track Personal Injury team, you will handle high-value claims ranging from £250k to £1m, guiding cases from instruction to resolution or trial. You will shape case strategy, supervise juniors, and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to deliver outstanding client care. This role blends complex litigation with mentorship in a values-driven, collaborative firm. You’ll engage in settlement discussions and ADR to achieve timely, fair outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-value PI claims from start to resolution or trial
• Develop case strategy and progress litigation efficiently
• Instruct counsel and medical/technical experts
• Prepare for and attend Joint Settlement Meetings (JSMs) and ADR
• Maintain strong client relationships and deliver excellent client care
• Ensure files comply with best practices and regulatory standards
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
• Share best practice and contribute to team performance
• Collaborate with colleagues across the wider department

Key requirements

• 5+ years PQE in Personal Injury litigation
• Strong experience handling multi-track, high-value claims
• Confidence managing cases valued between £250,000 – £1,000,000
• Excellent understanding of litigation procedure and strategy
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues (desirable)
• Excellent client care and communication skills
