In this role you will lead a Residential Family Centre, ensuring high-quality care, safeguarding, and assessments for families. You will manage a multidisciplinary team, drive continuous improvement, and maintain compliance with Ofsted and regulatory standards. The position focuses on delivering positive outcomes for children and parents, within a supportive, collaborative environment. Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Residential Family Centre
• Ensure service compliance with legislation, regulations, and quality standards
• Develop and support a multidisciplinary team to deliver assessments and interventions
• Oversee safeguarding practices and child welfare
• Monitor assessment quality, outcomes, and reporting
• Manage budgets, resources, and occupancy, ensuring safe referrals
• Build relationships with local authorities, commissioners, and partner agencies
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain excellent inspection outcomes

Key requirements

• Level 5 in Children’s Residential Management
• Strong knowledge of current legislation and best practices in children’s residential care and Residential Family Centres
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Can-do attitude, resilience, and ability to motivate others
• Flexible to work unsocial hours and travel across the county
• Access to a vehicle and full driving licence
