Overview
In this role, you will manage multi-jurisdiction expatriate tax and social security planning for EY Global’s senior leadership and partnerships, focusing on US, UK and India. You will collaborate with Global Mobility, the General Counsel’s Office, and home/host country tax teams to ensure compliant execution of planning. You will assist with tax policy interpretation, payroll tax affairs for EY Global’s Independent Non-Executive Directors in the UK, and ad hoc expatriate localisation calculations. You’ll also support EY business travellers and partner with internal tax teams to analyse treaties and leverage technology to standardise advice. This is a career–building, cross-border tax role in

Responsibilities
- Multijurisdictional expatriate tax and social security planning for senior leadership and partnerships (US, UK, India)
- Liaise with Global Mobility, EY GCO, and home/host country tax teams to ensure compliant planning
- Provide interpretation of the Global tax equalisation policy for expatriates
- Manage payroll tax affairs for EY Global’s Independent Non-Executive Directors in the UK
- Perform ad hoc expatriate partner localisation computations
- Support EY business travellers and Cross Border Travel Support (CBTS)
- Analyse tax treaties and social security agreements with EY PAS
- Leverage internally developed technology to standardise tax advice and costs
- Collaborate with the corporate tax team on Permanent Establishment matters
Key requirements
- Practical expatriate tax experience (UK)
- Expatriate tax compliance experience with Big 4 or boutique firms
- US/UK dual-handler expatriate tax compliance knowledge advantageous
- Experience with international tax treaties
- Familiarity with UK expatriate payroll requirements and international social security rules
- Knowledge of totalisation agreements and EU social tax legislation
- Strong written and oral communication skills
