Overview

In this role, you join Vita Healthcare to deliver high-quality, patient-centred primary care across multiple East Sussex practices. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to manage a varied workload and contribute to quality improvement and safe clinical decision-making. The position offers flexible working and exposure to modern digital systems in a partnership setting. A meaningful chance to impact care delivery at scale for about 55,000 patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine face-to-face and telephone consultations
• Participate in same-day and urgent care clinics
• Perform clinical triage using a total triage model
• Cover duty doctor sessions
• Carry out appropriate home visits
• Review pathology, correspondence and results
• Collaborate with nurses, ACPs, pharmacists, and other professionals
• Support safe clinical decision-making and participate in clinical meetings and quality improvement activities

Key requirements

• Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise
• Included on the NHS England Performers List
• MRCGP (or equivalent)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
