Overview
As Product Marketing Manager for Kong’s AI portfolio, you drive the GTM engine for AI offerings. You’ll own launches, campaigns, and content, coordinating with technical PMMs and demand/sales teams to translate complex AI tech into buyer-friendly narratives. You’ll shape launches and enablement, ensuring consistent messaging across AI products. This role blends strategy, execution, and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate pipeline and market impact. You’ll engage with key events and continuously optimize messaging based on field feedback.
Responsibilities
- Own launch execution across the AI portfolio and manage cross-functional launch processes
- Drive campaign strategy and content, translating technical differentiation into buyer-focused narratives
- Serve as the commercial interface between AI product marketing and downstream marketing and sales
- Support field and partner enablement with sales assets and competitive positioning
- Coordinate with event marketing for AI portfolio presence and messaging at flagship events
- Measure launch/campaign performance and iterate messaging/assets based on pipeline impact
Key requirements
- 2+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or solutions engineering (preferably in AI/ML platform companies)
- Hands-on interest in AI infrastructure and familiarity with LLM deployment, agentic frameworks, and AI governance
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear narratives for technical and C-suite audiences
- Track record of launching products, enabling sales, and delivering competitive intelligence that moves deals
- Highly collaborative with experience working across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Partners
- Comfort with stage presence: keynote talks, analyst briefings, customer roundtables, and demo-led sessions
- Experience in open-source software, SaaS platforms, and enterprise GTM motions is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with AI connectivity landscape (API gateways, AI observability, vector databases, iPaaS, agentic orchestration) is a plus
