Overview

As a Senior Executive in Decision Modelling, you shape strategic, commercial and financial decisions for major clients by building robust models and analytics. You work within EY-Parthenon to translate complex data into clear insights that inform decisions across transactions, financing and planning. You lead delivery, manage client relationships, and coach colleagues while solving ill-defined problems amid uncertainty. This role puts you at the heart of client decision-making, offering broad exposure across industries and opportunities to drive impact with AI-enabled tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test and document financial models, analytical frameworks or decision-support tools.
  • Collaborate with clients to define decisions, scope support, and shape the modelling approach.
  • Plan and manage work, translate scope into practical delivery, and own priorities, timing and budget.
  • Use modelling to develop insights, assess options, and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Lead or facilitate client meetings, validate information, present findings and align on requirements.
  • Deliver assignments independently or lead a small team, coach juniors, and ensure quality.
  • Manage delivery governance, documentation and handover, guiding clients on outputs and escalation needs.
  • Gather feedback to inform development priorities and provide constructive coaching to others.
  • Contribute to proposals, pitches, and client opportunities, and support capability-building initiatives.

Key requirements

  • Relevant financial modelling experience with Excel proficiency
  • Judgement to compare modelling options and selectAppropriate approaches
  • Curiosity about organisational drivers and business effects on decision-making
  • Experience delivering for clients, managing expectations and relationships
  • Attention to detail, problem-structuring skills, option assessment
  • Clear written and verbal communication and ability to present for action
