In this role you will operate at senior level within the Corporate Commercial team, handling high‑quality fee earning work and steering growth of the department. You will work closely with cross‑functional colleagues to manage a diverse caseload, supervise junior lawyers, and lead on business development. The position offers a clear path to Partnership in a supportive, collaborative culture with the resources of a larger practice. You will shape strategy and leverage an existing client base to drive market expansion.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of corporate and commercial matters
• Handle transactional and general corporate work
• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts (supply, distribution, franchise, T&Cs)
• Supervise and mentor junior team members
• Lead on business development and expand the client base
• Contribute to long-term department strategy and management

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with strong corporate and commercial experience
