Credit Trading – Private Credit Financing – Analyst

Overview

In this role you support the Private Credit Financing team in London by analyzing middle-market opportunities and developing credit and valuation insights. You work closely with senior analysts to assess risks, perform financial modeling, and propose mark recommendations for new loans, while monitoring sector trends and quarterly results. This fast-paced, collaborative environment offers exposure to diverse credit assets and meaningful impact on client borrowing needs. You will contribute to a culture of excellence within a leading global bank and help shape risk-aware investment decisions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze middle market credit investments with senior analysts
• Perform credit analysis of portfolio loan investments and identify risks and mitigants
• Develop draft mark recommendations for new loans considering business fundamentals, loan structure and spreads
• Conduct financial analysis, modeling, underwriting, and documentation
• Monitor portfolio through sector trends and quarterly financial performance

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, Accounting, or related quantitative field
• Strong English verbal and written communication
• Proficiency with GAAP accounting, financial reporting analysis, and financial modeling/Excel
• Strong MS Office skills
• Entrepreneurial work ethic, self-starter, intellectually curious
