Benefits Program Manager, EMEA

Overview

In this role you shape and manage Stripe’s global benefits programs, balancing strategic design with hands-on execution. You will align benefits offerings with Stripe’s Total Rewards strategy while navigating regulatory requirements across 30 countries. Collaborating with Legal, Finance, Procurement, and People teams, you’ll drive program improvements, vendor management, and communications. You help ensure a compelling, compliant employee experience and demonstrate impact through metrics and ROI. This is an opportunity to influence how Stripe supports its people at a global scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of benefits programs, including benchmarking, plan design, vendor management, renewals, negotiations, communications, and compliance.
• Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends to refresh programs in line with business strategy.
• Develop clear communication plans to educate employees about benefits offerings.
• Serve as primary contact for benefits vendors, brokers, and third-party administrators.
• Evaluate potential vendors and manage RFP processes with Procurement.
• Assess vendor performance and manage contracts with Legal to ensure commitments are met.
• Collect and report on key benefits metrics to inform decisions.
• Collaborate with People Partners, Finance, Payroll, Employee Relations, and Legal for a coordinated benefits strategy.
• Partner with Finance to manage budgets, forecast costs, and assess ROI of programs.
• Leverage Workday and benefits platforms to improve workflows and reporting.

Key requirements

• 5 to 7 years in a benefits role with similar responsibilities
• Experience using data, Stripe feedback, and financial analysis to improve programs
• Strong knowledge of government regulations related to employee benefits and time off
• Experience managing pension and time-off plans
• Experience using benefits administration platforms, such as Workday
• Experience influencing stakeholders and negotiating contracts with vendors
• Experience in fast-paced, growing tech environments
• Ability to drive projects independently and make informed decisions
