In this NQ role you join a regional firm’s healthcare team to develop specialised expertise in regulatory, compliance and dispute work for care providers. You’ll work closely with experienced healthcare lawyers, handling matters from CQC enforcement to inquests and due diligence for acquisitions. The role offers rapid development through a broad, sophisticated caseload and strong mentorship. Responsibilities

• Regulatory defence for providers (CQC/CIW/Ofsted) and tribunal appeals
• Criminal investigations and prosecutions handling (PACE interviews, CQC, HSE, Police)
• Coroner’s Inquests representation for healthcare providers
• Contract disputes and Court of Protection matters
• Safeguarding investigations advisory
• Professional misconduct proceedings and barred list challenges
• Regulatory due diligence for acquisitions, sales, refinancing of care facilities and related institutions
• Public law: judicial reviews in the care sector
