Overview
As a Financial Planner in CIBC’s Wealth Management practice, you will design holistic plans for high net worth clients, blending investment, estate, tax, and retirement strategies to grow and protect wealth. You’ll collaborate with clients, their external advisors, and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions. This role emphasizes client-first service, collaboration, and delivering meaningful financial outcomes for UHNW clients. You will work in a high-impact environment that values integrity, teamwork, and development.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial plans for high net worth clients leveraging internal expertise
- Collaborate with clients and external advisors to gather information and support plan development
- Lead the development of integrated financial plans with internal and external partners
- Assemble multi-disciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive solutions (banking, investing, estate and trust planning, tax minimization, education, business valuation, sale of a business, charitable giving)
Key requirements
- Expert financial planner with proven success for HNW/UHNW clients
- CPA, CA, CFP required; additional designations (LLB, TEP, FEA) considered assets
- Strong client-first orientation and willingness to go the extra mile
- Legal eligibility to work in the location; willingness to travel as needed
