Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex ecological consultancy projects
• Manage client relationships and project deliverables
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across offices and remotely
• Contribute to mentoring and training programmes for junior staff
• Identify and resolve ecological issues in projects
• Support compliance with planning policy and wildlife legislation
• Promote high professional standards in ecology
• Support health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives

Key requirements

• Relevant professional ecological experience (ideally ≥3 years)
• Broad ecological skill-set; protected species licences preferred
• Knowledge of planning system and wildlife policy/legislation
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Effective project management and client liaison
• Ability to identify, understand and resolve ecological issues
• Enthusiasm for ecology and the environment in the UK
• Organised, flexible, motivated
• BSc and/or MSc in a relevant subject
• Full driving licence and own transport
