Group Financial Controller

Overview

In this role you will own the group’s financial and management reporting, reporting to the CFO with significant exposure to the CEO. You will drive robust controls, governance, and compliance across statutory, tax, and regulatory affairs, while managing liquidity, working capital, and covenant risk. You’ll provide commercial leadership on key contracts and loyalty initiatives and lead finance transformation and process improvements. This is a senior, growth-oriented position at a well-known brand with opportunities to shape financial strategy post-investment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Group financial control, reporting, risk and governance
• Oversee statutory, tax and regulatory compliance and maintain key relationships (HMRC, auditors, banks, advisors)
• Own the group balance sheet, cash flow, liquidity, working capital and covenant management
• Provide commercial leadership on contracts, partnerships and loyalty programmes
• Drive operational excellence across Finance centre and Procurement
• Champion finance transformation through systems and process improvements

Key requirements

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
