As a Product Designer at WorkWave, you will craft intuitive experiences for non-technical users, partnering with product and engineering to transform objectives into usable solutions. You will drive the design process from discovery to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and accessibility. You’ll contribute to a design system and mentor teammates while staying current with trends, including AI-powered features.

Responsibilities
- Translate customer and business objectives into purposeful product designs
- Manage end-to-end design process from discovery to high-fidelity prototypes
- Collaborate with leadership, product marketing, engineers, and designers in a triad model
- Present design decisions and rationale to stakeholders using storytelling
- Triage feedback and iterate designs based on usability testing and DTSD insights
- Champion design system adoption, cohesion, and accessibility
- Contribute to the evolution of design system based on user needs
- Mentor peers, participate in critiques, and stay current with design trends
Key requirements
- 4+ years of experience in UX/Product design, interaction design, or related roles
- Proven track record delivering design initiatives that improve user outcomes or business metrics
- Strong portfolio of high-quality digital products with demonstrable impact
- Ability to communicate design decisions clearly to diverse audiences
- Solid skills in presenting complex problems and design rationale
- Deep understanding of user-centered design and HCI principles
- Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma preferred) and design thinking
- Experience using qualitative and quantitative research to evaluate impact
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field or equivalent experience
