As an Employment lawyer in Islington Council’s Corporate Litigation and Compliance Team, you provide proactive employment law support on a varied caseload, including tribunal work and contract drafting. You will advise on rights, obligations, and TUPE, contributing to a small, collaborative team in a dynamic environment. Your work supports the council’s mission to challenge inequality and foster inclusive public service. Responsibilities
- Provide high-level employment law advice on a varied caseload
- Conduct claims in the Employment Tribunal
- Draft and review employment contracts

Key requirements
- Thorough knowledge of employment law
- Experience in the legal profession
- Qualified as solicitor, barrister or FILEX
