Overview
In this role you will ensure right-first-time, compliant delivery on aerospace shop floors by acting as a practical quality authority. You will support production continuity while safeguarding safety, conformity and regulatory compliance. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to resolve non-conformities, lead containment and root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement using structured Quality tools. This position offers hands-on impact in a high-stakes manufacturing environment with visibility across the value chain.

Responsibilities
- Assure product and process compliance across manufacturing, assembly and shop-floor activities to QMS, aerospace standards and regulatory requirements
- Provide hands-on quality support to production teams through surveillance, inspections, audits and issue resolution
- Manage non-conformities, concessions and deviations with containment, investigation and corrective/preventive actions
- Collaborate with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Design, Supply Chain Quality and suppliers to resolve quality issues and protect schedules
- Maintain concession and non-conformance trackers, prepare inputs for review boards and ensure timely follow-up
- Contribute to continuous improvement and non-quality reduction using methods like 8D, PPS, root cause analysis, FMEA, APQP, SPC
- Support supplier quality topics, including material concessions and deviation management
- Engage in quality boards, audits, gemba walks and readiness reviews as needed
Key requirements
- Experience in aerospace or other regulated manufacturing quality (quality assurance, manufacturing quality, supply chain quality or shop-floor quality)
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, conformity, non-conformance management and practical production support
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, work instructions and quality records
- Knowledge of quality management principles, including RCA, corrective actions, containment, risk management and continuous improvement
- Strong communication and stakeholder management across multi-functional teams
- High attention to detail and a safety-minded approach; ability to challenge safety or compliance risks
