Overview

Senior Associate in Bristol to manage an autonomous property litigation caseload within a respected law firm. You will work in a 60-lawyer Complex Litigation group, collaborating with Senior and Principal Associates to deliver high-quality client service. The role combines independent case management with mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to team performance. Your work will span nuisance, trespass, boundary matters, and rights of way, from inception through ADR or trial, under strict professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Run an autonomous caseload of property litigation matters
• Supervise and support junior fee earners
• Handle disputes such as nuisance, trespass, boundary issues, easements, and rights of way
• Manage cases from inception through ADR or trial
• Ensure compliance with the SRA Code of Conduct
• Contribute to team performance through effective use of Management Information

Key requirements

• 5+ years PQE in property litigation
• Qualification and authorisation to conduct litigation (essential)
• Expertise in nuisance, trespass, boundary disputes, easements, and rights of way
• Experience supervising junior lawyers (desirable)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
