Role Description This is a self employed flexible remote role for an Estate Planning Consultant. The consultant will advise and take instructions clients on wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning solutions, tailoring recommendations to individual circumstances and goals. Day-to-day tasks include conducting client consultations, gathering relevant information

The role also involves maintaining accurate records, coordinating with internal legal teams, and following up with clients to clarify options and finalize plans. The consultant is expected to manage a caseload efficiently, provide clear written and verbal communication, and uphold high standards of confidentiality and ethical practice.

Qualifications

Full training will be provided as well as professional qualificiation support

Whilst

  • knowledge of financial services or estate planning principles, including wills, trusts, inheritance, and powers of attorney is advantageous it is jot essential all documents are drafted by our head offoce legal team
  • Ability to conduct thorough client consultations, assess needs, and translate complex legal information into clear, accessible guidance.
  • Proficiency reviewing, and organizing legal and estate planning documents with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills and empathy are essential, including listening, explaining options, and building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Comfort working in a remote environment, managing time independently, and using digital tools and case management systems.
  • Relevant professional experience such as banking/financial services, teaching, retired police NHS,.
  • Formal legal professional or financial qualifications (such as a law degree, paralegal certification, or financial planning credentials) are beneficial.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, client confidentiality, and ongoing professional development is essential
