We arethrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a passionate and skilledPastry Chef de Partie to join our esteemed culinary team at the Ham Yard Hotel.In this role, you will play a key part in our kitchen operations, contributingto the creation of exquisite pastries that delight our guests. You will workclosely with our talented chefs, assisting with the order of service for lunchand dinner, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Createand prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods to our exactingstandards.
- Assist inthe day-to-day operations of the pastry section, maintaining a smooth workflow.
- Superviseand mentor junior members of the pastry team, fostering a collaborative andsupportive environment.
- Maintainmeticulous attention to detail to ensure the quality and consistency of allproducts.
- Managestock levels, place orders, and control inventory to minimise waste and ensurefreshness.
- Upholdthe highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
What you Need:
- Provenexperience in a similar role within a busy kitchen environment.
- Demonstratedability to supervise and lead a small team effectively.
- Exceptionalattention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful pastries.
- Strongorganisational and communication skills.
- Experiencein ordering and stock control.
- Apositive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
