Formulation Chemist
Construction / Adhesives / Automotive Chemicals.
This position will be based at their site in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire. It is a full-time permanent role and will report to their Head of R&DJob PurposeMy client is looking for an experienced Formulation Chemist who is looking to develop innovative products for the construction sector.They are looking for a practical, technically confident chemist to join their Research and Development team in their R&D Laboratory to support their range of dispersion adhesives, cement-based adhesives, grouts and levelling compounds.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving, managing varied technical projects and working closely with both technical and non-technical teams to bring new and improved products to market.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and optimise formulations to meet performance, cost, sustainability, health and safety, and project timeline requirements.Support the successful introduction of new products into manufacturing, working closely with Production, Quality, Sales, Marketing and Technical teams.Qualifications and ExperienceEducated to BSc level or equivalent in a relevant chemistry / scientific discipline or equivalent (
or membership of the Royal Society of Chemistry)Looking for a candidate who has worked with adhesives / construction chemicals or automotive chemicals
