(Heavy Lifting Role)*** This is a Nightshift vacancy ***This is a physically demanding role within a busy, friendly, and well-organised warehouse environment. This position is not for the faint-hearted and requires a strong work ethic and good physical fitness.Role summary:DX Warehouse Operatives are responsible to ensure the safe and efficient unloading and loading of freight from vehicles into, and from the site. They will also support the delivery operation to ensure the correct freight is loaded to complete the delivery routesRole Responsibilities:Represent DX in a professional manner at all timesLoading and unloading vehicles ( heavy lifting involved )Ensure all freight being loaded or unloaded matches relevant paperwork / scanner informationEnsure that customers freight is transported, stored safely and treated with respectFollow all aspects of DX Manual Handling and safe working policies, including the correct use of all PPERequirements:Must be available for full-time work and have the Right to Work (RTW)Physically fit and able to carry out heavy manual workMust live locally or be able to drive to the depotPrevious warehouse or production experience preferred (full training provided)Reliable, punctual, and hard-workingAble to work well as part of a teamFlexible with shift patternsAvailable for immediate startBenefits:At DX, our people are the foundation of our success.
