Manager – FAAS (Capital Markets) – London, Reading or Manchester

Overview

In this role you will support EY’s Capital Markets function by delivering PCAOB- and SEC-driven accounting services to US and UK clients. You will lead technical accounting work, manage transactions and coach junior staff, while expanding your international network. The role sits at the intersection of assurance and capital markets, offering exposure to IPO readiness, US GAAP conversions and Sox-related advisory. You’ll work with cross-border teams to shape challenging client solutions and advance your career within a global firm.

Responsibilities

• Utilise PCAOB audits, US GAAP, SOX and SEC reporting
• Lead and deliver technical accounting support
• Project manage transactions and coach junior staff
• Build and maintain an international professional network

Key requirements

• Fully qualified as a US CPA or UK equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years’ PCAOB audit experience
• Extensive knowledge of US GAAP, with baseline IFRS
• Experience serving clients undertaking capital raising
• Ability to collaborate, manage projects and people
