Senior Data Engineer

Overview

In this role you will build and own cloud-based data solutions, driving automation and reliability. You will collaborate with fellow data engineers, review code, and contribute to scalable ETL pipelines that align with business goals. You’ll enable data-driven decision making by supporting analytical tools and insights from the data platform. Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-quality data solutions with strong automation in the cloud
• Own complex backlog tasks and deliver with minimal issues
• Support data engineers through code reviews and pair programming
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL data pipelines aligned to business goals
• Drive solution through experimentation and innovation
• Support the build of analytical tools using the data pipeline to deliver insights and data-driven decisions

Key requirements

• Extensive experience with cloud-based data technologies and data warehousing design principles, preferably Azure
• Deep understanding of end-to-end data solutions
• Solid experience with ETL tools, Databricks, and SQL
• Solid experience with Python, SQL, and Spark
