Geotechnical Engineers

Overview

In this role, you will contribute to a nationally significant SMR programme by delivering geotechnical investigations, analyses, and design within a highly regulated setting. You will work with structural, civil and construction teams to develop ground models and assess soil-structure interaction, shaping safe and efficient foundation solutions. The position offers exposure to multi-disciplinary delivery in energy and defence-adjacent projects, with opportunities to advance from engineer to senior level. This is a mission-driven role for someone who thrives in regulated environments and complex geotechnical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Ground investigation design and interpretation
• Foundation and earthworks design
• Geotechnical risk assessment
• Development of geotechnical ground models
• Numerical analysis and soil-structure interaction assessments
• Coordination with structural, civil and construction teams

Key requirements

• Geotechnical Engineering
• Engineering Geology
• Civil Engineering
• Experience in energy, infrastructure, nuclear, rail or defence projects
• Knowledge of PLAXIS, OpenGround or Leapfrog is advantageous
• British Citizens / British Passport Holders required for SC Clearance; sponsorship not offered
