Loss Prevention Advisor

Overview

In this role you safeguard customers, associates, and assets within our stores through investigations and analysis. You’ll partner with store teams to reduce shrink, deliver effective conflict resolution, and coach staff on Loss Prevention best practices. The position blends customer-facing duties with behind-the-scenes activity, including educating associates and handling external theft professionally. You’ll join a supportive, growth-minded team at a leading European off-price retailer of clothing and homeware.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations and provide feedback to protect products and assets
• Deliver conflict resolution and reinforce loss awareness across the store
• Coach and train store associates on Loss Prevention best practices
• Handle external theft situations professionally and safely
• Collaborate with store teams to integrate Loss Prevention into daily operations
• Educate staff on Loss Prevention agenda and compliance within stores
• Balance customer-facing duties with back-of-store activities to enable effective role performance

Key requirements

• Experience in shrink and crime resolution in a retail security environment is ideal but not essential
• Self-driven, engaging, resilient and focused attitude
