Senior Project Manager – Central & Local Government

Overview

In this role you drive complex project delivery within Central and Local Government, coordinating multi-stakeholder programmes and ensuring high standards of delivery. You’ll bridge design and construction inputs, guiding pre- and post-contract activities to resolve issues and keep projects on track. You collaborate with clients, contractors and designers to align on plans, progress and communications. Responsibilities

• Conduct background research, data collection and benchmarking
• Establish and implement project processes and systems
• Produce and maintain project plans
• Monitor progress and document performance indicators
• Track changes and maintain change documentation
• Prepare written project communications and progress reports
• Liaise with client, contractors and designers
• Attend meetings and draft minutes

Key requirements

• Engineering background with civil, structural or mechanical/electrical focus
• Broad development lifecycle understanding (business case to handover)
• Direct on-site construction experience
• Experience in residential-led or mixed-use projects, including enabling works and related obligations (S106/S278)
