Insurance Business Analyst

Overview

In this role you will translate business needs into actionable requirements for insurance-focused product initiatives within a large, NDA-protected programme. You will collaborate with Product Owners, technology teams, and stakeholders to shape solutions and ensure delivery across the full product lifecycle. You will turn complex problems into clear requirements and acceptance criteria, maintaining traceability and driving continuous BA practice improvements. This is a chance to influence product outcomes in a complex, cross-team environment with real business impact.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse, document, and validate business and functional requirements for product initiatives
• Collaborate with Product Owners and delivery teams to align requirements with product vision and roadmap
• Support end-to-end product delivery across analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation
• Translate complex business problems into structured requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Manage and trace requirements throughout the lifecycle
• Collaborate with technology teams to support solution design and clarify functional impacts
• Identify risks, dependencies, and impacts within a large-scale programme environment
• Support change management activities and stakeholder alignment
• Contribute to continuous improvement of BA practices and standards within the product workstream

Key requirements

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst within complex delivery environments
• Experience or knowledge of Life Insurance and Protection domains
• Proven ability to work through complex problems and ambiguous situations
• Experience working within large-scale programmes involving multiple teams and stakeholders
• Strong requirements management skills, including documentation and traceability
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements
• Experience working in Agile and/or hybrid delivery models
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
